Industrial Washing Bays

Tecnoter Group washing bays are designed for the professional cleaning of earthmoving machinery, trucks, road sweepers, industrial vehicles, and equipment subject to heavy residues such as mud, dust, oils, and hydrocarbons.

The platforms are available in two operating categories:

  • Modular sinks for manual washing
  • Automatic bays for industrial vehicles (e.g., motor sweepers, environmental vehicles, operational fleets) Both can be configured with optional closed-loop water filtration and recycling systems, depending on regulatory requirements and the operating context.

What are Tecnoter washing bays used for?

Tecnoter bays are used for:

  • removal of mud, oils, dust, and processing residues
  • cleaning at the end of a construction shift or scheduled maintenance
  • prevention of contamination between industrial areas
  • facilitate vehicle inspections and maintenance
  • improve safety and order in operational activities

Closed-cycle washing for complex vehicles

Tecnoter automatic bays are designed for fleets and operational vehicles that require fast, structured, and repetitive washing cycles.
The plant uses pumping units and high-pressure nozzle batteries, positioned on the bottom and sides, with cycles activated by sensors and control logic.

Key features

  • automatic jets directed at the bottom and sides
  • modular structure adaptable to available space
  • hot-dip galvanized steel construction
  • customizable configurations for different types of vehicles (e.g., motor sweepers, compactors, trucks)
    industrial)

Closed-loop washing cycle (optional)

With the integration of treatment and clarification systems, the bays can handle:

  • separation of sludge, oils, and contaminants
  • chemical-physical rebalancing of wastewater
  • reuse of clarified water in subsequent washes

(The adoption of closed loop depends on site requirements and applicable environmental regulations.)

TC Connect – Remote control and smart management

TC Connect is a real-time monitoring and control system designed to simplify the use and management of Tecnoter washing bays via smartphone, tablet, or PC.
The system provides operational data useful for productivity and the prevention of machine downtime, allowing you to monitor parameters, maintenance, and consumption.

Planned functions (Basic)

  • parameter monitoring: pumps, lighting, tank levels, hour meters
  • notifications for maintenance intervals

Functions + (Protocol 4.0 / 5.0)

Includes basic functions plus:

  • period data download
  • remote control: system lock, sludge extractor, heating, lighting
  • extended parameter monitoring (pumps, extractors, filters, polyelectrolyte mixer, hydro-cleaner)
  • consumption monitoring
  • historical data visualization remotely accessible data

Some functions may require auxiliary components that are not included in standard configurations. Their use depends on the model and operating context.

Modular sinks for manual washing

Tecnoter modular bases are suitable for high-performance manual workstations and can be installed directly on existing flooring without foundations or structural work.
They are constructed of hot-dip galvanized steel with high load capacity, ideal for heavy vehicles and shipbuilding.

Key features

  • modular units for customized configurations
  • handling with pallet trucks or forklifts
  • integrated drainage system for wastewater collection
  • compatibility with water treatment and recycling plants

Integration with filtration and recycling systems (optional)

Both categories of bays can be combined with systems of:

  • separation of sludge and suspended solids
  • oil separation
  • multiple filtration
  • clarification and storage for water reuse

(The choice of system depends on the vehicle, frequency of use, and environmental provisions set out in the
website.)

Areas of application

  • construction sites and demolitions
  • quarries and mines
  • ports and industrial logistics
  • municipal services and street sweepers
  • workshops and company fleets
  • waste treatment and recycling plants
  • agriculture and forestry sector

Frequently Asked Questions

What advantages do modular bases offer over a fixed installation?
Modular bases can be installed on existing pavements without complex structural work. They are expandable and reconfigurable, ideal for those who need flexibility and quick installation.
Yes. Modular bases are expandable with additional platforms and tanks, allowing system capacity to be increased as needed.
Depending on the model, Tecnoter bases can be used with wheeled or tracked vehicles of even considerable size and weight. Cars, motorcycles, trucks, industrial equipment, engines, agricultural tractors, helicopters, and earthmoving equipment. The bases are designed to support vehicles and equipment of various kinds, within the structural limits stated in the final design.

Due to the special design and patented profile, the effluent is easily ejected from the washing area and stored in special tanks.

It depends on the type of system and applicable regulations. Filtration can be integrated upon request to create a closed-loop flushing system that requires no connection to the sewer.v
