Our History, The importance of renewal
Tecnoter was founded in 1985.
At the time, the company was involved in hydraulic repairs at a local level in Milan and the surrounding area, and immediately stood out for the extensive experience and expertise of its technicians in building hydraulic equipment for earthmoving machinery. The 1980s and 1990s continued along a path of growth for the company, which increasingly established itself in the industrial sector.
With the approach of the new millennium, the world demanded change, both on a human and technological level. Tecnoter responded to this demand with an equally significant change, seizing the opportunity to find the courage to reinvent yourself. This led to the idea of introducing a sector engineering that it was up to the task, that it produced technological solutions suited to the new needs of manufacturers: the new retrofit kit hydraulic and electronic products attract the attention of major international companies, leading to the company being recognized outside Italy, reaching the Middle East and overseas.
Trust in Tecnoter is growing because it has demonstrated its ability to understand its customers' needs through change.
It is no coincidence that “We design solutions” becomes the motto on which the entire company is based.
Yet Tecnoter goes beyond this.
The company not only acquires other companies, such as RC Automation, but aware of the urgent need to protect the planet, begins to design and produce systems and equipment with low environmental impact: found RC LLC, Green Division, which deals with the production of sanitation systems, power generators and GPUs, but also lighting groups, wheel washing systems e compressors, all with hydraulic motors, and zero-emission systems for civil and military applications.
Tecnoter wanted to completely revamp itself, year after year, to be ever closer to our customers, whether they are industry giants or small business owners, and offer them tailor-made solutions, adapted to each specific need, guiding them toward the right choice, so that they too can find the courage to reinvent themselves, improve, and achieve their goals. Technological innovation and openness to international markets
As the new millennium approached, we realized that technological and human change was inevitable. We did not shy away from this challenge: we chose to undergo a profound renewal, introducing an advanced engineering sector capable of creating tailor-made solutions for manufacturers and large industrial companies. This vision gave rise to our hydraulic and electronic retrofit kits, which attracted the attention of major international players.
From that moment on, we began to look beyond Italy's borders, taking our projects to the Middle East and other overseas markets.
This is how our motto came about: “We design solutions,” because our strength has always been listening to our customers, understanding their needs, and transforming them into concrete and sustainable solutions.
A conscious evolution: our Green division
With our accumulated experience and growing environmental awareness, we have chosen to invest in sustainable technologies.
This led to the creation of RC srl – Green Division, our division dedicated to the production of:
- Sanitization and disinfection systems
- Power generators and GPUs
- Lighting units and compressors
- Industrial wheel washing systems
- Hydraulic motor solutions with zero emissions, for civil and military applications
At the same time, we acquired RC Automation, thereby expanding our know-how and ability to offer integrated and comprehensive solutions for various industrial sectors.

LA HISTORY IN STAGES
1985
Tecnoter D.I. is founded. The company brings its technical expertise in the field of hydraulics applied to earthmoving machinery to the table.
2000
Tecnoter srl is founded and new partners quickly increase the vitality and offering of Tecnoter srl. The new structure immediately stands out as a center of attraction in the sector of design and production of hydraulic retrofit kits for earthmoving machinery. The first direct orders are acquired from major manufacturers of earthmoving machinery and aerial platforms. The sales network expands and now covers the entire Italian territory.
2003
Tecnoter moves to new, more functional premises, acquiring direct ownership of the building. France, Greece, Malta, and Austria are added to the historic Italian market. Investments in research and development are significant in relation to Tecnoter's size. Penetration of the European market increases significantly. Cooperation with major international manufacturers is now well established.
2008
RC srl, div. Green is founded. The production of the main components is now robotized. The quality of Tecnoter and RC Green products is appreciated not only in Europe but also in the Middle East. The sales offices are moved to a dedicated facility.
2011
Despite the crisis, the Tecnoter Group continues to grow steadily. New products are now available. The Group's customers now span three continents.
2012
RC Automation is created through the acquisition of an external company with over forty years of experience in the automation sector. The production unit in Vellezzo Bellini (Pavia) is added. The Tecnoter Group exports products and services to over forty countries on four continents.
2014
The Agricultural Consortium of Melegnano and Lodi, in the province of Milan (Italy), requests Tecnoter's services on an exclusive basis in order to meet the needs of its customers. Tecnoter moves its headquarters to the premises of the Agricultural Consortium itself. Tecnoter rapidly increases its presence on the local market. The new size does not allow it to remain within the Agricultural Consortium's facilities. Tecnoter moves to an independent facility. Hydraulic motor generators and compressors are developed. Hydraulic magnets also go into production. Auxiliary arms for excavators are produced. Production of wheel washers and sanitation systems for vehicles begins.
